The Oncidium Alliance is a massive and diverse group of over 1600 orchid species known for their showy, often fragrant, and abundant flowers. Oncidium frequently feature a large, ruffled lip resembling a skirt which gives rise to their common name Dancing Lady Orchid. Other Oncidium Alliance orchids include the Spider Orchids of the genus Brassia, the warm growing Brazilian Miltonia, the ethereal Odontoglossum, the Pansy Orchids of the genus Miltoniopsis, and the uniquely butterfly-shaped Psychopsis and many more.
