Cattleya purpurata is one of our favorite species, they are large plants but well worth the space needed for their reliable and massive display of early summer flowers. These seedlings are a selfing of var. flammea 'Stef' from Hawaii.
We don't have a picture of Cattleya purpurata 'Stef' but the flowers should be similar to the plant shown from our collection, possibly even darker!
