Rhyncholaeliocattleya Helen

Rhyncholaeliocattleya (aka Brassolaelia) Helen is a classic hybrid first made in 1902. The combination of Cattleya (Laelia) tenebrosa with its tall clusters of dark, stately flowers and the fringed lip of Rhyncholaelia (Brassavola) digbyana will stand out in any collection. We don't have any pictures of this cross yet but you can see what to expect at Orchidroots. Please note that the floppy growth habit is normal and inherited from Catt. tenebrosa, staking new growths as they form will improve their presentation.
